Help-Portrait is a global movement of passion. It is an exciting collaboration of photographers, hair stylists, make-up artists, and other volunteers that come together to provide the unique experience of a professional photo shoot for the less fortunate in the community. Help-Portrait is simply about ‘giving’ rather than ‘taking’ photographs of individuals and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity. Help-Portrait is taking place in 67 countries and in just six years, 326,858 portraits were given.

Last year’s Help-Portrait Day Newmarket event made a positive difference to many lives in our community. Thanks to the collaboration within the community, over 600 portraits were printed for more than 300 participants.

At this moment we are looking for hair stylists and make-up artists who want to help us putting smiles on hundreds of faces in Newmarket on December 6.
